摘要: HFE is a class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-related protein that mutated in patients with the iron overload disease hereditary hemochromatosis. binds to transferrin receptor (TfR), used by cells obtain form of diferric (Fe-Tf). Previous studies demonstrated and Fe-Tf can bind simultaneously TfR ternary complex, membrane-bound or soluble binding cell surface results reduction affinity for Fe-Tf. We studied inhibition interaction between using radioactivity-based biosensor-based assays. The demonstrate inhibits TfR:Fe-Tf at near site on TfR, Fe-Tf:TfR:HFE consists one bound homodimer.
