摘要: Over the last few decades several new high throughput methods have been introduced in research for analysing expression of a wide range proteins that an enormous value diagnosis and treatment human cancers. The Tissue microarray technology is one such novel tools. method takingmultiple tissue cores from conventional histological paraffin blocks placing them single block. Thus, tissues multiple patients can be seen on same slide. It means combining hundreds specimens onto slide simultaneous analysis. This technique grown to become population level tool. TMA hold immense potential validate tumor types shorter time span. represents mechanism highly effective use scarce resources. paper presents overview this technology, benefits challenges traces application combined approach Immunohistochemistry pertaining oral squamous cell carcinomas.
