摘要: Objective:To estimate the effectiveness of ultrasonophoresis and iontophoresis with sodium diclofenac used in addition to an exercise program for patients impingement syndrome.Design:Multicentre, double-blind, placebo randomized controlled trial.Setting:“Mancha Centro” Outpatient primary care clinic (Spain).Participants:A total 175 were considered, whom 88 met criteria agreed.Intervention:The randomly assigned one three groups: a) standard treatment (supervised exercises cryotherapy) along ultrasonophoresis; b) treatment, iontophoresis, c) ultrasonophoresis, iontophoresis. All received 15 sessions.Outcome measures:Baseline, 6-, 12-week evaluations carried out.
