摘要: The E6 oncoprotein of bovine papillomavirus type 1 (BPV-1) can transform cells independently p53 degradation. precise mechanisms underlying this transformation are not yet completely understood. Here it is shown that BPV-1 interacts with CBP/p300 in the same way as described for proteins oncogenic human papillomaviruses. This interaction results an inhibition transcriptional coactivator function required by and probably other transcription factors. comparison CBP/p300-binding properties mutants previously characterized studies suggests (i) E6–CBP/p300 may be necessary, but sufficient, cell transformation, (ii) activator function, inherent to protein, derived from forming a complex CBP/p300.
