摘要: PURPOSE To compare the efficacy of two different techniques for vertical bone regeneration at implant placement with particulated autogenous 3 years after loading: resorbable collagen barriers supported by osteosynthesis plates and nonresorbable titanium-reinforced expanded polytetrafluoroethylene barriers. MATERIALS AND METHODS Twenty-two partially edentulous patients requiring augmentation were randomly allocated to treatment groups, each composed 11 patients. Prosthetic failures, complications, amount vertically regenerated bone, peri-implant marginal levels recorded independent blinded assessors. The site most was selected in patient level assessment. follow-up time ranged from provisional loading loading. Analysis covariance paired t tests conducted means .05 significance. RESULTS No dropped out or excluded 3-year follow-up. prosthetic failures no complications occurred There statistically significant difference loss between groups either 1 year years. Both had gradually lost a (P < .05). After years, treated mean 0.55 mm bone; who received showed 0.53 loss. CONCLUSIONS Up loading, minimal. Vertically can be successfully maintained functional
