摘要: Urinary urgency and frequency are common in α-synucleinopathies such as Parkinson’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia Multiple System Atrophy. These symptoms cannot be managed with dopamine therapy, their underlying pathophysiology is unclear. We show that individuals or Atrophy α-synuclein pathology accumulates the lateral collateral pathway, a region of sacral spinal dorsal horn important for relay pelvic visceral afferents. Deposition this may contribute to impaired micturition and/or constipation Disease other α–synucleinopathies.
