摘要: Abstract The bidomain equations are widely accepted to model the spatial distribution of electrical potential in heart. Although order optimal methods have been devised for discrete versions these equations, it is still very CPU demanding solve numerically on a sufficiently fine mesh 3D. Furthermore, hard analyze; from mathematical point view, little known about qualitative behavior solutions generated by equations. It well that upon appealing certain relation between extracellular and intracellular conductivities, can be rewritten terms scalar reaction diffusion equation referred as monodomain model. This course much easier solve, also properties known; such studied intensively decades. purpose present paper show how approximated an manner solution key feature here this computed without solving itself. obtained putting problem into framework parameter identification problems. Our results illuminated series numerical experiments.
