摘要: THE PRESENT case was deemed worthy of report for three reasons: (1) the occurrence acquired hemolytic anemia subsequent to transfusion incompatibility in a patient with acute disseminated lupus erythematosus; (2) and demonstration blood group antibodies, anti-C, anti-A 1 , third incompletely identified atypical hemagglutinin, multiple whole transfusions; (3) use exchange as therapeutic agent during most phase intravascular hemolysis. REPORT OF CASE The patient, 15-year-old white girl, admitted hospital first time on July 9, 1949, complaints generalized weakness fatigability migratory joint swellings. Her difficulties began seven months prior admission brief episode low-grade fever widespread pains which subsided until six weeks before admission, when alternate warm painful swellings finger, elbow, knee points again developed.
