Dodecenyl succinylated alginate as a novel material for encapsulation and hyperactivation of lipases.

摘要: Alginate was modified with dodecenyl succinic anhydride (SAC12) in an aqueous reaction medium at neutral pH. The highest degree of succinylation (33.9±3.5%) obtained after 4h 30°C, using four mole SAC12 per mol alginate monomer. (SAC0) for comparison, and the structures thermal properties alg-SAC0 alg-SAC12 were evaluated FTIR, (1)H NMR, DSC. Calcium-hydrogel beads formed from native alginates, which lipases encapsulated a load averagely 76μg lipase mg alginate, irrespective type alginate. Lipases "lid", usually are dependent on interfacial activation, showed 3-fold increase specific activity toward water-soluble substrates when alg-SAC12, compared to free lipase. Such hyperactivation not observed independent or hydrogels.
