摘要: During the pulse, toroidal field winding of RFX machine is connected to a capacitor bank and an oscillating current flows in winding. The protection against faults performed by short-circuiting with crow-bar, made set ignitrons parallel. efficiency this crow-bar strongly depends on its equivalent electrical resistance, which should be kept as low possible limit voltage applied On other hand, maximum must enough withstood even single ignitron, avoid damages case improper triggering. A compromise about resistance value found basis analysis electrodynamic forces stresses coils during action. paper presents circuit model simulations, force distributions corresponding mechanical stress values coils, showing dependence resistance.
