摘要: The synthesis of copper(II) salicylaldiminato complexes and their application in the catalytic hydroxylation phenol is reported. Tetracoordinated copper (Cu(Ln)2) were obtained by reacting N-phenylsalicylaldimine ligands (HL1 –HL7) with acetate a 2 : 1 mole ratio. reaction N-(2,6-diisopropyl)phenyl-3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylaldimine (HL7) ratio afforded dinuclear complex, which was not other ligand systems. All characterized using FT-IR elemental analysis. X-Ray crystal structures 2, 5 8 have also been obtained. activity these evaluated oxygen hydrogen peroxide as co-oxidants aqueous media pH range 3 – 6. studied found to be active for process over higher selectivity catechol formation.
