摘要: Visual observations made at Halley Bay, Antarctica, in the years 1956–1965 are used to study variations position of quiet homogeneous arcs. The diurnal median latitude and mean azimuth highest point on lower border arcs similar from year year. annual latitudes azimuths show no evidence systematic variation during solar cycle. all is 66.7°S θ4 coordinates. corresponding value peak auroral incidence curve presented by Stringer Belon found be 67°. position, using measurements 1956 1965, can fitted pattern arc orientations Gustaffson.
