摘要: Objectives: Air-pollution exposure has been associated with increased cardiovascular hospital admissions and mortality in time-series studies. We evaluated the relation between air pollutants emergency room (ER) visits because of cardiac arrhythmia a cardiology hospital. Methods: In study, we association as result daily variations SO 2 , CO, NO O 3 PM 10 from January 1998 to August 1999. The cases were modelled using generalised linear Poisson regression models, controlling for seasonality (short-term long-term trend), weather. Results: Interquartile range increases CO (1.5 ppm), (49,5 µg/m ) (22.2 on concurrent day 12.3% (95% CI: 7.6% 17.2%), 10.4% 5.2% 15.9%) 6.7% 1.2% 12.4%) ER visits, respectively. effects dose-dependent gaseous had thresholds. Only effect resisted estimates models more than one pollutant. Conclusions: Our results showed that pollutant are predominantly acute starting at concentrations below quality standards, suggests relevant role pollution caused by cars.
