First report of Western Flower Thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (Thripidae: Thysanoptera) from India- A Potential Havoc to Indian agriculture

摘要: Western Flower thrips (WFT), Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) is being reported for the first time from India based on specimens collected tomato. It most economically important species in insect Order Thysanoptera damaging wide variety of crops as a sucking pest and vector plant viruses.
