摘要: Abstract Excess nutrients, particularly nitrogen and phosphorus remaining in anaerobically digested liquid manure (AD) effluent, have major impacts on the environment if disposed of inappropriately. Algal cultivation, with advantage a faster uptake nutrients effluent streams, represents one best processes for removal excessive nutrients. Meanwhile, algae also been proved as most promising non-food-crop-based feedstock biofuels production. This study applying ecological approach an open algal cultivation system elucidated that non-filamentous green algae, especially Chlorella, were able to tolerate high nutrient loadings five-month cultivation; chemically pretreated AD which contained 200 g m−3 total 2.5 g m−3 dissolved (TDP) provided optimal concentration selected algae. Additionally, pilot-scale semi-continuously fed raceway pond revealed stable biomass productivity 6.83 g m−2 d−1.
