摘要: The mechanism of digitalis-induced emesis was investigated in unanesthetized cats chronically prepared with indwelling catheters and cannulas. Ouabain, dihydroouabain, deslanoside strophanthidin were injected intravenously, intraportally, intravertebrally, intracarotidly, intraventricularly, intracisternally. Vertebral arterial injection proved to be the most effective means eliciting emesis, whereas injections into lateral fourth ventricles brain ineffective. Intraportal glycosides no more than intravenous, even less by intraportal route. Pretreatment microsomal inhibitor SKF-525A did not influence emetic effectiveness or toxicity drugs. Vomiting elicitable intravenous intravertebral after ablation medullary chemoreceptor trigger zone. cardiotonic steroids toxic when intraventricularly intracisternally, central severe that genin. data support contention is mediated direct action upon zone, but receptor site can reached only through blood stream.
