摘要: The role of lymphadenectomy in the management gynecologic malignancies has evolved as we have come to better understand limitations our current diagnostic tests and treatment paradigms for node-positive disease. optimal surgical approach is one that minimizes operative morbidity, permits rapid postoperative recovery, leads prompt initiation adjuvant therapy without compromising oncologic outcomes. Initially, node status was assessed using a transperitoneal by laparotomy. However, high complication rate associated with this procedure, particularly combination extended field radiation, led development extraperitoneal approaches lymphadenectomy. With innovation refinement minimally invasive surgery, effectiveness laparoscopic robotic now been established. This review describes execution various oncology practice. data comparing adequacy sensitivity these assessment nodal involvement are also presented. Further, unique advantages complications discussed. Lastly, will highlight what learned about therapeutic value critically evaluated over time. Presently, first phase III randomized controlled trials investigating endpoints consideration given ongoing.
