摘要: The human host has evolved elaborate protection mechanisms to prevent infection from the billions of microorganisms which it is exposed and home. One these systems, complement, an evolutionary ancient arm innate immunity essential for combatting bacterial infection. Complement permits efficient labelling bacteria with opsonins, supports phagocytosis, facilitates phagocyte recruitment site through production chemoattractants. However, by no means perfect, certain organisms engage in arms race where complement become a major target promote immune evasion. Streptococcus pyogenes pathogen that causes significant morbidity mortality globally. S. also member elite group pathogens possessing sophisticated arsenal virulence determinants capable interfering complement. In this review, we focus on evasins, their mechanism action, importance disease progression. Finally, highlight new therapeutic options fighting pyogenes, one its main
