摘要: Aims This study aimed to evaluate the effects of three Bacillus probiotics on Salmonella Typhimurium, and interleukin-8 (IL-8) gene expression in co-culture pathogen vitro. Methods results subtilis, indicus coagulans were initially turned spore heat-inactivated forms. The cellular damages HT-29 cells investigated individually combination with S. Typhimurium using 3-(4,5 dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) fluorescence assays. To extract cell free supernatants (CFS) probiotics, they cultured selective media. inhibitory activity CFSs then assayed against pathogen. IL-8 was evaluated by real-time PCR all groups. showed that could inhibit growth more than 50%. Inhibitory B. subtilis related production pepsin-sensitive compounds, except which high effect due organic acids. spores forms reduce cytotoxicity Typhimurium. viability also increased applying both In groups, induced reduced. Conclusions can be considered as proper candidates for prevention treatment food poisoning. Significance impact Applying live bacteria is universally noted foods. tried discover form or even heat-killed ratio culture. most effective probiotic will recommended. approach help use nonvegetative foods fight gastrointestinal pathogens.
