摘要: Ultra-weak photon emission (UPE) of a living system received scientific attention because its potential for monitoring increased levels reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the pathogenesis rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In this study, highly sensitive cryogenic charge-coupled device (CCD) camera was used to monitor RA mouse model both without and with luminol. For that purpose, induced mice utilizing repeated co-administration type II collagen lipopolysaccharide. Quantitative imaging ultra-weak front back paws animals initiated 70 days after first injection. All were measured once luminol again immediately Data illustrated higher UPE intensity initiating by CII-injection animals. The increase using indicating technology may be useful future study human RA. © 2013 van Wijk et al.
