摘要: Three regimes of condensation have been observed between 74 and 80 K in the adsorption desorption a submonolayer film xenon. The first one corresponds to thej or evaporation two-dimensional (2D) ‘gas’, second growth 2D crystal presence gas, third completion on (0001) graphite face. Zero order kinetics for both is found large range coverage (0.3 < θ <0.9) where two phases coexist surface. activation energy measured; its value (∼6 kcal mole−1) fair agreement with latent heat this phase (5.5 5.7 determined previously. No nucleation has during process. rate controlled by incident flux only.
