摘要: This article investigates the impact of foreign aid on economic growth in Papua New Guinea (PNG) using time-series data for period 1965 to 1999. Following most recent literature, examines whether effectiveness is conditional levels policy and governance. An empirical model estimated Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach cointegration proposed by Pesaran Shin [1995]. Results provide little evidence that its various components have contributed PNG. There some more effective during periods when country has undertaken a World Bank Structural Adjustment Program (SAP). alternative interpretation SAP may be at spurring supported aid.
