RNA and protein synthesis in the earwig ovary

摘要: Abstract Cytochemical and autoradiographic studies on the ovaries of Labidura riparia indicate that oocyte is supplied with RNA synthesized in nurse cell nucleus. There no indication synthesizes its own RNA. Neither DNA nor protein can be shown to enter from external sources. Although largely cytoplasmic, incorporation lysine into also localizes nucleolus older oocytes.
