Antipsychotic medication for challenging behaviour in people with intellectual disability: a systematic review of randomized controlled trials.

摘要: A study was performed to determine the effectiveness of antipsychotic medication for people with intellectual disability (ID) and challenging behaviour. Randomized controlled trials comparing placebo in ID behaviour were identified by electronic searching hand-searching. Reviewers independently evaluated analysed data on an intention-to-treat basis. Only three randomized could be included analyses. These provided no evidence as whether does or not help adults There is limited this important issue good quality research urgently needed.
