摘要: Backgrounds/aims Focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) is one of the most common benign tumors liver. There still a lack evidence on surgical indications for FNH. This study intended to analyze Methods We analyzed 48 cases FNH diagnosed after hepatic resection. Results Common reasons leading resection were diagnostic uncertainty (n=31), and persistent symptoms (n=8). None our patients had past history contraceptive use. Percutaneous biopsy was performed in 14 nine patients, adenoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, plasmacytoma, angiosarcoma, atypical proliferation patient each. Minor hepatectomy (n=37) more frequently than major (n=11). Open (n=29) laparoscopic (n=19), but minimally-invasive surgery during late phase period. Postoperative complications occurred two (4.1%). Conclusions can be by imaging studies, treatment may considered or symptoms.
