摘要: Abstract Chimerical symmetrical faces were constructed from 93 photographs of unilaterally brain damaged patients. Pairs complementary chimeras presented to 30 normals who requested choose the most expressive face each pair. Results indicate that left half is judged as more than right one (a) if patient left-injured and (b) when expression not smile. This asymmetry thus under control a central asymmetrical processor it seems positive emotions depend upon particular mechanism, suggested in previous studies.
