摘要: This comparative study of two similar wheelchairs designed for less-resourced settings provides feedback to manufacturers, informing ongoing improvement in wheelchair design. It also practical familiarity clinicians countries where these chairs are available, their selection prescribed wheelchairs. In Kenya, 24 subjects completed 3 timed skills and assessments energy cost on 2 surfaces each wheelchairs: the Regency pediatric chair a manufactured by Association Physically Disabled Kenya (APDK). Both distributed settings. The significantly outperformed APDK one both three tests.
