摘要: Abstract The Los Angeles (LA) abrasion method is commonly used for determining the characteristics and classification of granular materials in road pavement construction. resistance can significantly affect service life pavements when exposed to long-term dynamic traffic loads. LA suffers from several drawbacks including time needed perform test, operational noise dust space required by machine. objective this study was investigate whether modified compaction be a suitable alternative value. This proposed consideration similarities treatment method. It considered that laboratory-modified closely simulates unbound base course sub-base layers experience repetitive As indicated results tests on nineteen different aggregate samples, strong correlation exists between Abrasion Values (LAVs) values obtained implementing method, namely, Compaction (CAVs).
