摘要: Abstract The fate of pollen and tubes can have a profound effect on fruit seed production. Experiments were conducted to investigate viability, in vitro germination vivo tube growth the biofuel crop Jatropha curcas. It was possible distinguish between fresh dead using 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC). Pollen significantly higher an agar-based medium composed sucrose, boric acid calcium nitrate compared with control indole-3-acetic (IAA) treatments. from hermaphrodite flowers had lower rates shorter tubes, abnormal shapes, male flowers. both self- cross-pollinated entered ovary within 8 h after pollination, thus confirming earlier reports self-compatibility this species.
