摘要: TRACHEAL obstruction by a primary tumor is customarily treated endoscopic methods, namely, piecemeal removal of tissue projecting from the wall trachea, diathermic cautery base and dilation. Such procedures have sufficed to relieve many patients their symptoms for months. Because fairly large proportion tumors in trachea are cylindromas, which invade little beyond grow slowly, control may be possible several years. Obviously, however, more nearly ideal treatment would conform accepted principle surgery neoplastic disease: complete excision tumor, tumor-bearing region surrounding margin normal tissue. The rareness has, on one hand, provided incentive develop method radical surgical treatment, and, other hazards come mind contemplation
