摘要: Pulse-width modulated adjustable frequency drives are extensively used in the industries for control of induction motors. It has led to significant advantages terms performance, size, and efficiency variable speed motor controls but applied voltage current waveforms become non sinusoidal. These sinusoidal result into & peaks, transients increased harmonics. Voltage peaks increase insulation stress. Current thermal stress insulation. harmonics dielectric core losses. The accelerated aging; hence life is reduced. Paper presents effect this overshoot on three-phase A comparison between PWM drive conventional presented by experimental results. results compare quantitatively parameters due motor. can be estimate ageing
