摘要: Abstract Cubic Pt nanoparticles were prepared from a solution of K 2 PtCl 4 containing sodium polyacrylate as capping reagent. The effects the Pt/polymer molar ratio, average molecular weight ( M w ) polymer, and reaction temperature on shape size investigated. When polymer  = 5100 was added at ratio Pt/polymer = 1/12, cubic platinum an 10.3 nm predominantly formed (ca. 50% in number) 25 °C. electron diffraction pattern revealed that they are single crystals with {1 0 0} faces surface. electrochemically active, showed strong features cyclic voltammogram under argon atmosphere. After repeated potential cycling range 0.05–1.4 V, gradually lost, changed to those polycrystalline Pt. Rotating ring disk electrode measurements O -saturated H SO had high catalytic activity for oxygen reduction (ORR). polycrystallization by cycling, ORR hydrogen peroxide formation decreased slightly, which attributed surface structural change polycrystalline.
