摘要: Sugarcane vinasse has been widely used as a soil fertilizer in the Brazilian sucro-alcohol industry for recycling potassium and water. However, potential negative effects from long-term fertirrigation represent major drawback regarding this practice, whereas application of biodigestion represents an efficient method reducing polluting organic load recovering bioenergy vinasse. Regardless predicted use vinasse, understanding each option is imperative, seasonal alterations inorganic/organic fractions directly affect its management. In context, study presents detailed compositional characterization sugarcane large-scale biorefinery throughout 2014/2015 harvest to assess environmental (due fertirrigation) estimate biogas energetic potential. Calculated inputs matter into soils due land were equivalent populations (117-257inhabha-1) at least 2-fold greater than largest capital cities (78-70inhabha-1). Two-phase could efficiently reduce (23-52inhabha-1) eliminate direct sulfide emissions environment. high risk sodification result using doses Na-based alkalizing compounds plants. Finally, optimized recovery through (13.3-26.7MW electricity) supply large 305 thousand inhabitants, so that over 30% surplus electricity produced by studied be obtained biogas. Overall, applying treatment provides important gains. benefits may lose their effect depending on strategy, indicating proper chemicals full-scale plants imperative attain process sustainability.
