摘要: Rotational moulding is used to manufacture hollow plastic products. The process offers many advantages the designer, but it hampered by a strong dependence on trial and error methods achieve good part quality at economic production rates. During rotational moulding, polymer subjected relatively high temperatures for long periods of time in presence air. This can lead degradation inner free surface moulded article, with consequent deterioration mechanical properties part. processing conditions that vary factors affect heating rate, such as type mould used. In this work method proposed predict onset degradation, basis occurs when concentration anti-antioxidant reaches zero. Good agreement between experimental predicted optimum temperature was obtained two grades polyethylene stabilised different antioxidant systems. Using described, now possible identify best particular so more efficient cost-effective parts be produced.
