摘要: Abstract Previously, high levels of gastrin-releasing peptide and its mRNA were detected in classic small cell lung cancer lines. Here the ability lines to synthesize neuromedin B (NMB), a structurally similar mammalian bombesin-like peptide, was investigated. By radio-immunoassay, NMB (0.1–0.7 pmol/mg protein) 23 33 In contrast, (0.1–12.9 16 32 Using gel filtration pressure liquid chromatography techniques, main peak immunoreactive coeluted with synthetic NMB. Northern analysis, 0.8-kilobase species present, using poly(A) derived from two three more sensitive S1 nuclease protection assay, present most 15 examined. These data suggest that may be regulatory cancer.
