Climate Change, Health Risks, and Vulnerabilities in Burkina Faso: A Qualitative Study on the Perceptions of National Policymakers.

摘要: Climate change (CC) constitutes one of the greatest threats to human health, and requires political awareness for effective efficient adaptation planning. This study identified perceptions climate health (CCH (2) population is aware climatic changes in their environment; (3) CC intertwined with agricultural economic development country. SDPs biodiversity loss, floods, droughts, extreme heat as posing highest risk health. They elaborated five exposure pathways that are will be affected by CC: water quality quantity, stress, food supply safety, vector borne diseases, air quality. In conclusion, Burkina Faso highly hazards, relevant pathways, corresponding outcomes. Mental interplay between social factors complex risks constitute perception gaps. perceived CC&H vulnerabilities align current evidence.
