摘要: Surgical and chemical interference with the neural connections of house sparrow (Passer domesticus) pineal does not abolish free-running rhythm in constant darkness, unlike pinealectomy. Pineals transplanted to anterior chamber eye are capable restoring rhythmicity pinealectomized birds darkness. The avian appear be neurally coupled other components circadian system.
