Characterization of Silver-Doped LiF Crystal Grown by Czochralski Technique for Dark Matter Search Application

摘要: In this article, the growth, luminescence, and scintillation properties of a silver-doped LiF crystal grown by Czochralski technique are studied. The absorption spectrum is measured at room temperature optical energy bandgap calculated as ~5.2 eV. luminescence studied different temperatures (10–550 K) under excitations with X-ray, 266-nm laser, 280-nm light emitting diode (LED), 90Sr beta source. shows violet emission (~405 nm) excitation LED decay time from (300 to 10 K laser curves fit 2-exponential (300–200 3-exponential (175–10 functions. shortest ( $27.2~\mu \text{s}$ ) longest $42.8~\mu obtained 300 75 K, respectively. Thermoluminescence (TL) measurements were carried out 325 550 in order investigate presence trap centers. kinematic parameters such kinematics, depth, frequency factor for observed TL peaks. yield continuous single photon counting using source range K. we will emphasize potentiality Li-based dark matter search applications.
