Recent results with a high-current, heavy-ion source system

摘要: Abstract In the last conference of this series, an improved high-current ion source for gases, CORDIS was presented. This has been further developed to allow processing substances which are not volatile at room temperature. One these modifications, HORDIS, incorporates oven whereas third version works rather moderate temperatures and can be fed through a slightly heated external bottle. With system, beams in 100 mA range produced considerable part periodic table. Operation parameters experiences with sources discussed, most recent results all versions given.
