摘要: This paper presents a new numerical method for solving the incompressible, unsteady Navier?Stokes equations in vorticity?velocity formulation. The is applicable to spatial simulations of transitional and turbulent boundary layer flows. It based on compact-difference discretization streamwise wall-normal derivatives Cartesian coordinates. A Fourier collocation approach used spanwise derivatives. Important features are use nonequidistant differences direction; split-compact new, fast iteration semi-implicit time integration diffusion terms; an improvement buffer domain technique prevent reflections waves at outflow boundary. Results test calculations presented verify improvements obtained by these techniques.
