摘要: Generalized Lotka-Volterra LV model is considered, with the equation for preys reproduction containing quadratic term that accounts interspecies competition and white-noise random variations of factor which simulate environmental variations. An exact solution obtained corresponding Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov joint stationary probability density (p.d.f.) population sizes. Both sizes are shown to be independent gamma-distributed processes. Increasing level and/or approaching bifurcation point, corresponds extinction predators, may lead an intermittent behavior, whereby one or both experience very rare violent short pulses outbreaks while remaining on a low most time. This intermittency described analytically in terms derived p.d.f. as well by applying theory excursions functions predicting peaks troughs predators size.
