摘要: To study the mechanical behavior of crushed rock aggregate, a series large-scale direct shear tests were conducted. Then particle flow model was established with PFC3D (Particle Flow Code 3D) to analyze micro-mechanical properties, including distribution contact forces and displacement vectors. The clump logic adopted replace spheres simulate irregular particle. main results were: strength aggregate increased obviously increase normal stress, envelope power function type suitable for assessing this; within range chosen stresses, volumetric dilation always observed after compression, smaller stress led larger as well less amount compression; certain sizes, at same compression increasing size, while apparent friction angle showed an opposite trend; formation band evolution strain elucidated.
