摘要: Irrigation has different impacts on soils. The most studied negative are related with salinity, sodicity or soil contamination because of poor irrigation water quality rising tables. It is assumed that suitable the impact positive. However, there publications showing under certain conditions long-term freshwater may cause fertility deterioration. Therefore a hypothesis appeared some Mexican soils also be degraded. objective our study was to compare properties agricultural irrigated for more than 30 years non-irrigated virgin in climatic zones. principle crops were corn and wheat. furrow border strip positive arid conditions, but semi-arid, semi-humid humid gradually caused deterioration annual leaching organic matter exchangeable calcium. Comparison same rainfed did not show significant differences. Thus, itself can induce changes fertility. Therefore, Mexico it appropriate reduce losses. Under recommended increase runoff using surface drainage lands improve technologies. These measures conserve fertility, efficiency land resource use, consumption, productivity, profitability sustainability over long-term.
