摘要: Classical induction machine design generally focuses on achieving high steady state efficiency. In contrast, automotive applications consist of almost continuous transients, where the flux linkage is varied along driving cycle to save energy. With conventional machines designed for efficiency, higher peak current and excessive losses can occur during transient with linkage. Therefore, this paper occurring highly dynamic typically encountered by electric vehicle traction motors. The methodologies that are most compatible loss minimizing control developed. effect magnetizing inductance leakage rotor dynamics evaluated. changes in slot dimensions parameters evaluated cycles compared using previously developed minimization method. It has been found increased a larger reduction than decreased inductance. Unlike common guideline minimize inductance, be appropriately achieve effective electromagnetic field coupling lower cycles.
