摘要: Climate change is already affecting European biodiversity, as demonstrated by changes in species' ranges and ecosystem boundaries, shifts reproductive cycles growing seasons, to the complex ways which species interact (predation, pollination, competition disease). These effects vary between regions ecosystems. Strategies adopted mitigate or adapt climate also impact biodiversity. And land use with subsequent biodiversity can alter levels of greenhouse gas emissions thus global climate. This article describes many linkages It stresses need for more integrated policy responses, at international, regional national levels. Nationally, activities that meet objectives promoting mainstreaming into various sectoral areas making. Reducing energy consumption, increasing efficiency renewable technologies are priorities. Activities both exploring. include adopting new landscape management approaches, ensuring carbon sequestration projects incorporate considerations.
