摘要: The Johor Strait is an estuarine system located on the coast of state in Malaysia.The Western Part a shallow between Causeway and Pulai River. Ahydrodynamic model was calibrated based Environmental Fluid Dynamic Code (EFDC) from 4th to 17th of October, 2009. In this calibration, EFDC hydrodynamic configured simulate time series surface water elevation, velocity, salinity. grid consisted 2310 cells horizontal direction four vertical layers. reasonably simulated tidal range. velocity showed good agreement with observations data. predicted salinity Salinity compared surface layer observed Results showed that changes surface depth were uniform and condition implied rapid mixing system. calibration can be used for quality sediment modeling for studying age modeling.
