摘要: A theoretical framework was developed and validated for the estimation of H2S concentration in biogas produced from complex sulfur-rich effluents. The modeling approach based on easy-to-obtain data such as biological potential (BBP), chemical oxygen demand, total sulfur content. Considering few required, model fitted well experimental concentrations obtained BBP tests continuous bioreactors reported literature. supported a correlation coefficient (R2) 0.989 over data, obtaining average maximum errors ~ 25 ~ 35%, respectively. yielded good estimations wide range (0.2 to 4.5% biogas). This is, therefore, useful tool towards anticipating substrates deciding whether installation desulfurization technology is required or not.
