Flexural, impact, rheological and physical characterizations of POM reinforced by carbon nanotubes and paraffin oil

摘要: The paraffin oil dispersion technique innovated in the recent years to synthesize bulk polymer nanocomposite materials has a uniform dispersion. This research work aims study effect of added carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on flexural, impact and rheology behaviors polyoxymethylene (POM) reinforced by 0-0.03 wt% CNT using technique. wettability lamellar thickness were measured rheological performance investigated parallel plate rheometer. flexural mechanical properties also evaluated. fracture surfaces then examined microscopy. results showed that energy break, strength modulus increased proportionally with addition amount matrix. For behavior, viscosity decreased at low percentage increase weight ratio POM It was noted water contact angle rose percentages.
