摘要: Experiments have been carried out to determine heat transfer coefficients for evaporative cooling due water jet impingement onto a continuously moving sheet of polymeric material. Operating conditions were selected so as simulate conations encountered in industry wherever possible. The initial temperature was varied between 373 and 423K. maximum average air velocity 40 m/s the separation distance nozzle surface 10 mm 18 mm. kept constant during course tests at 0.0025 m/s, used liquid spray more or less 291K. It has found that an coefficient 5000 W/m2 K can be achieved exit Reynolds number 30000 L/D, ratio tip sheet, diameter nozzle, 13.3. Cost analysis also included order demonstrate evaporation technique both economical energy efficient.
