摘要: Rats received 53 stimulations to either the left basolateral amygdala (BA) or anterior neocortex (AN) in one environment (CSþ) and sham (the stimulation lead was attached but no current delivered) another (CS–), quasirandomly over 54 days. Confirming a previous report [Barnes, S.J., Pinel, J.P., Francis, L.H. & Wig, G.S. (2001) Behav. Neurosci., 115, 1065– 1072], as BA kindling progressed, CSþ began elicit more defensive behaviours (i.e. less activity, freezing avoidance of CSþ) than CS–, at end experiment, convulsions elicited were severe those CS–. Like kindling, AN led activity ; unlike wet-dog-shakes less, rather more, CSþ. During mean number negatively correlated with convulsion class, suggesting that contribute inherent variability kindling. These findings confirm conditioned effects influence kindled interictal behaviour establish for first time pattern these is function site.
